Arrival in Ireland

After sitting on the tarmac for about an hour,  the flight from JFK to Dublin was about 7 hours, and we arrived in Dublin at the crack of dawn, around 5:30 local time, which for Americans on the east coast is about 12:30 am.  Once again I get a quiet passenger who sleeps most of the flight.  We didn't get the meals we special ordered,  and discover that we (read: dad) did not confirm the special meals, so it's gruel like the commoners.  The meals we had were fine,  really,  but it's no Air Swiss.

No issues with passports or anything of that sort.  I'm one of those who can't sleep unless I'm in a bed,  so by the time we get to the hotel and get checked in I've been up about 22 hours.  A good Irish breakfast with ham (bacon), watery eggs,  lots of bread and jam,  and it's off to bed for about 4 hours before we are back up again for an interesting tour called Viking Tours.
