On our way to the Airport

On our way to the airport.  They say when you pack for a trip to fully pack your suitcase and then take half of it out.  Clearly this was not intended for women, at least as far as my mom is concerned. Her suitcase is bigger than mine and my dad's combined.

Even though my folks are 69 and 71, they are techno-geeks, and they have packed just about every device they can cram into their luggage: tablets, GPS, phones, chargers, etc.  Which I have no issue with 'cause I'm the same way.  But for this trip I have packed my tablet, a charger, and a camera.

Another added bulk to the luggage is all the pills they bring along: vitamins of all shapes and sizes. Admittedly though, my folks are in such great shape for their age that there might be something to all those pills.  I'm just crossing my fingers that they didn't pack any Viagra. That would make this a very awkward trip.

I'm 44 years old, and yet, I am still asked if I packed underwear, toiletries, and so forth.  Oh well. Some habits die hard.  Today's breakfast: cereal.
